We are A SOLAIRE EXCLUSIVE SALON and we only spray violet based tans. Nothing gives you a lift more than getting a spray tan. Spray tanning is the safest way to get that bronzed look without the harmful ageing effects from those UV rays. From a light sun kissed tone to competition tans, Urban Wax and Beauty has you covered.
Pre & Post Tan
Pre Tan
Exfoliate and moisturise leading up to your tan, but do not moisturise the day of your tan
Avoid wearing deoderant or perfume on your body before your tanning appointment
Bring a hair tie if you need to put long hair up, and please remove your jewelry
Wear loose clothing eg: a Sarong and thongs (or no shoes)
Post Tan
All our tans are 2hr express tans so they must remain on the skin for a minimum of 2hrs how ever they can be left on longer and will continue to process for upto 8 hours
Avoid any physical activity that will cause sweating and the rain while your tan is processing
Your first shower is a quick 60 second rinse without soap or rubbing just to rinse the excess tan residue from the skin. Take your second shower at least 4 hours later.
No swimming for at least 12 hrs
A tan will last 5 to 7 days dependant on your after care. Tans can be pro longed with our take home Solaire products and we encourage clients to purchase the take home packs if you are a regular tanner, or going away on holidays with your tan.
Solaire Tan
Our regular everyday 2-8 hour spray tan comes in 2 different shades: Indigo our 'dark' tan, or Burgundy our 'medium' tan.
The tan will start to develop within 2-8 hrs and will continue to develop for 18-24hrs.
As a standard development time:
2 hours for a light tan
4 hours for a medium tan
8 hrs tan for dark tan
